Wow!
Powerful and touching - and no, it doesn't transgress. The photo doesn't show your mum in an undignified way - and I assume she was happy with your intention. And it seems like the logical extension of your blog, Sarah. I've notice themes coming up again and again - the animals, family - they seem to be coalescing and focussing down which is good. Keep worrying at these things - allow your obsessions to grow and explore them more deeply.
This is good - and difficult. This is the journey.
